Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your environmental, health, and safety (EHS) expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.
You'll drive the implementation of EHS policies and foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility at the site. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Site Management, HR, social and medical partners), develop and deploy EHS management systems, and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company requirements, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:
Advising, helping, coaching, and supporting operational management in the EHS actions implementation to reach Alstom EHS objectives. ,
Preparing the local yearly EHS plan consistent with Alstom strategy and objectives, mobilizing and coordinating with others to meet those objectives, and deploying the plan.,
Monitoring the right deployment of the EHS plan. ,
Ensuring EHS Risk Assessment is done and appropriate measures to control risks are defined for the Site. ,
Preparing, implementing, and maintaining emergency plans at Site level. ,
Ensuring activities of sub-contractors are under control with respect to EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operational areas. ,
Exercising full authority to stop any operational activity resulting in an immediate high risk to People or the Environment. ,
Leading the EHS function on the site, including monitoring, assisting, coaching, assessing, and developing the EHS teams. ,
Conducting induction programs for new EHS personnel at the site. ,
Developing, deploying, and maintaining the local procedures and tools applicable to the Site specific for EHS Management System in line with Transport & Country/Cluster EHS Management System."

Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. ,

Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation processes, and emergency planning. ,
Strong communication and coaching skills to influence and support teams at all levels. ,
Ability to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives. ,
Leadership skills to manage and develop EHS teams effectively. ,
Analytical skills to monitor, measure, and review EHS performance and data quality. ,
Proficiency in developing and maintaining EHS management systems and tools. ,
