Security Installation Technician
Access Control, Cameras, Entry-Level Networking
What You Get to Do:
Install and troubleshoot access control systems, door hardware, readers, and head-end terminations
Work hands-on in the field with real responsibility from day one
Partner with other techs and vendors to complete jobs cleanly and on time
Learn on the job, at Manufacturer training, and in the classroom (we have our own) in an environment that values growth and initiative
Support commercial and institutional clients across Greater Boston
Use basic networking skills to ping devices, check connections, and get systems running smoothly
What You’ve Already Done:
Hands-on experience with access control installs, terminations, or peripheral devices
Comfortable with low-voltage wiring and using hand tools
Can work independently, troubleshoot in the field, and know when to escalate
Basic understanding of networks (you can ping a device, know what an IP address is, etc)
D license is a bonus but not required
